Agility UK’s Manual Handling Instructor course is aimed at individuals who need to have the skills and knowledge to deliver manual handling training to their peers.

The Aims and Objectives:

The aims and objectives of the course are to prepare individuals to be confident, competent and knowledgeable to train others in manual handling techniques. This will include:

Legislation - Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992
Types of accidents incurred
The spine structure and methods of protecting the back
Lifting techniques

Attendees will be given the knowledge, skills and training methods to be able to provide training to the abilities of the individuals attending the training and have the ability to identify the different learning styles of those that they are training, to ensure best results.
