First Aid at Work training
First Aid at Work training from Agility UK complies with the current Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations of 1981.
All employers in the UK have a legal obligation to ensure First Aid provision for their employees. Delegates of the Agility UK First Aid at Work training course gain the knowledge and confidence to deal with any First Aid emergency.
Details of First Aid at Work training courses
First Aid at Work training takes place over a total of three days and covers the following:
- Accidents and illness
- Using a first aid kit
- Simple record keeping
- Treatment of an unconscious casualty
- Heart attacks
- Shock Choking Bleeding
- Burns and scalds
- Poisoning Fractures Seizures Asthma
- Severe allergic reaction
- Eye injuries
- Low blood sugar
- Fainting
Upon successful completion of the three day First Aid at Work course, first aiders receive certification to allow them to practise for three years. After three years, it is necessary to retrain.
First Aid at Work training takes place at Agility UK’s training venue in Worcestershire. The fee for the First Aid at Work course is £275 + VAT per person and includes an HSE approved certificate and refreshments.
