Fork Lift Truck Training

Agility UK provides nationally recognised and accredited Fork Lift Truck training throughout the UK. Upon completion of any of our Fork Lift Truck training courses, delegates will be issued with a recognised Fork Lift Truck licence.

The HSE recommends that Fork Lift Truck training is carried out at the operatives own place of work. Agility UK provides both on-site and off-site training to meet the individual needs and requirements of our clients.

Fork Lift Truck training courses

All of our Fork Lift Truck training courses have the following core features:

Identify the basic construction and components, and the purpose and use of all controls and gauges.
Identify and comply with manufacturer’s instructions in accordance with the operator’s handbook, other information sources i.e. rating plates, and applicable regulations.
Carry out all pre-use and running checks.
Configure the forklift for travel.
Manoeuvre the forklift both with and without a load.
Manoeuvre in confined areas using forward and reverse direction, both with and without a load.

Set up the forklift in order to lift various loads.
Lift various loads within the full working range of the forklift.
Ensure load integrity and security.
Transport Loads
Place and retrieve loads accurately at various places.
Place and retrieve loads from a vehicle bed or trailer.
Keep within safe working parameters.
Place the forklift in an out-of-service condition.
Explain the loading and unloading procedure on and off a transporter

Novice Fork Lift Truck training

Novice Fork Lift Trucking training is for anyone who needs a recognised Fork Lift Truck licence. This nationally accredited course takes users through all the requirements to keep themselves and others safe while using a Fork Lift Truck.

Experienced Fork Lift Truck training

Experienced Fork Lift Truck training is designed for experienced users who have a good basic knowledge of Fork Lift Trucks but need additional experience or training.

Refresher Fork Lift Truck training

Refresher Fork Lift Truck training is designed to re-certify existing Fork Lift Trucks users who need to maintain their accreditation.

Conversion Fork Lift Truck training

Conversion Fork Lift Truck training is designed to retrain Fork Lift Truck operators to safely use different types of Fork Lift Trucks. We can provide conversion training for the following types of Fork Lift Trucks:

order pickers
pedestrian operated
pallet stacker
articulated counter balance
