Gas Safe Register Replaces CORGI Gas Registration

The new Gas Safe Register replaced the CORGI gas registration scheme in Great Britain on April 1st 2009. 

You now need to ensure that if you have any work carried out on gas appliances or systems the Engineer is Gas Safe Registered. 

Finding a Gas Safe registered engineer is very easy. All of the registered engineers are listed on the website: http://www.gassaferegister.co.uk or you can call 0800 408 5500 where the customer services team will be able to find you a local engineer.

Make sure you ask to see their ID card with their licence number and photograph when they arrive. The back of the card will inform you what your engineer is qualified to check.
